Tips for preparing for interior shots: Rooms should be clean and free of clutter, personal memorabilia, and holiday decorations. If a bedroom is to be photographed, make sure the bed linens are reasonably free of wrinkles. Bathrooms look better with fresh-looking towels on the towel bars. Vases of fresh flowers make excellent decorations for every room. No need to light a fire in the fireplace--we'll do that digitally later. Tips for preparing for exterior shots: Try to hide clutter like hoses, toys, and garbage cans. Move vehicles so the driveway and front of the house are clear. Close gates and garage doors, but open the curtains and drapes so that the home seems welcoming. Removing a screen door can sometimes greatly improve a home's appearance.
